He thinks I ran because of what we did…of what we could have done.
He couldn’t be more wrong.
I want him.
But his voice, his eyes, his touch all told me…he didn’t just want my body.
He wanted my heart.
And it scared the shit out of me.
I’m afraid of being touched that deeply…of being destroyed again. Now in my hesitation…I’ve probably lost it all.
An entire month and I still don’t know what to do.
How do I explain the marks on my soul that still have yet to heal?
How do I tell him…
it’s me.
