It’s official.
I’ve fallen for Kevin Harvick.
At first I just thought it was friendly concern, but “keeping an eye on him” quickly became a compulsion. Then he showed up at my coach and it all came together.
Drinking loosens tongues and it sure loosened mine. I hope I didn’t go too far. I tried to be subtle, even when he rested his head against my shoulder on the plane.
Then when I got him home I knew for sure.
He kissed my cheek--not that he’d remember--and thanked me softly.
I knew then that I’d wait.
For him.
