Winter outside... and inside.
Maybe they’re just busy?
Not the case and I know it.
Haven’t seen either of them since that day.
Haven’t heard anything of the two of them either. But that could be misdirection.
I haven’t given up. Gonna fight. A few calls, a few emails; nothing overwhelming.
Christmas time, Christmas party; Kelley invited me to the JRM one. It’s good to talk and catch up. I see a few of my Chance2 boys here; some stayed, some left.
A few know or at least suspect; a little distant and there, corner of my eye.
It’s him.
