He was his.

Love in the depths of his eyes, turned to him. The look always healed something in his soul.

Shock when he realized the look had faded and slowly turned to another. He can’t begrudge him but it causes something inside him to wither.

He needs it like a drowning man. June was his light in a windswept sea. A light fading and burning for another.

He turned his back on him, married another, denied who he was to settle for normal. A content normal, nothing like the electric shock that was June’s constant normal.
