Frost over my heart, ice in my soul.
I see the look on his face, the mark glaring bright. Only one thing could’ve happened.
Turn from his devastation, my demise.
My composure... feel it breaking...
Always were, always are...
What am I? Shore against the tide...
Frozen shore slowly breaking, easing away under the ebb and flow.
I feel him hovering. Turn and there with heartache, in his eyes, is the one who stole my heart... breath away.
Siren call... can I forgive him this time?
...Will there be other times? Better question...
Truex... Earnhardt... Junior... tangled web woven.
