Sunnydale Mall: Walk Through

* Level Walk Through *

This level starts in Mall Area 1. To start this level 2 vamps come to fight Willow. Use you magic of choice then go forward towards the fountain. Here you can bust the bench with a fire ball for 4 stakes. Also to your right on the cart is cooking oil. Grab this. Now make your way around to the Sporting Goods store and bust open the boards with a fireball. Go in.

Sporting Goods Store
Inside you will fight some vamps and learn a new spell. This a good chance to test it out. To the right of the entrance is a Medi Pack. In the back to the left in the fitting rooms is a bat and to the left of the fitting rooms is Holy Water. Go through both sets of doors to the back room and to the left of the door you will find a Hell Fire vial, on the back shelf you will find 2 Hell Fire vials and on the counter to the right a Medi Pack. Jump over this counter and go back to the cage. See the gas coming from the canister in the cage. Go over to the cage door and fire a fireball at the gas. Now go through the hole to the back of the Computer Store and hole you will find a Medi Pack on the table. There will also be a vial of Hell Fire to the right. Keep going in to the Computer Store.

Computer Store
Fight vamps and get the Shutter Key off the counter. This key will open the doors conning both sides of the Mall so you can get to Mall Area 2. You won't find anything else here but vamps so go ahead and leave the store. I suggest playing with your spells here. The vamps seem to attack 2 at a time so try working with the Possession spell. It will be good to have this mastered when you meet the level boss. Let the vamps fight it out then go stake the bad one and the possessed one. The possessed one will just stand there, it's kinda funny. ;-)

Now go on up stairs and into the book store. When you get to the top of the stairs go right and then left to find it. On the counter in the middle you will find a Credit Card. Now go to the back of the store and pull the ladder over to the right where the vamps fell through the ceiling. Climb up the ladder and up into the hole inthe roof. Now go over to the generator and start it using the cooking oil which makes the elevation work. Now head back to the mall and to the elevator. I did this by first jumping over the rail to the bottom level to avoid vamps. Then run to the left and go through the shutter door by the computer store to the other side of the mall. If vampos are chasing you and you go through the door they won't follow. Now go to your left to the elevator and find the Broken Key.

Key Store/Office
Now go to the enclave next to the Sporting Goods Store. Here you will find an ATM. Go to it and use the Credit Card to get Cash. You now need to go upstairs to the Key store. This store is opposite of the elevator on the other side. Go up to the key board and you will find a new Door Key. On the counter here you will also find Holy Water. Now go back outside the mall and go to the hallway across the way from the key store. In the Office room ther eyou will find Holy Water and a Dictaphone. If you use the computer here Willow will say you need a modem, this comes later. Go back outside the Mall and go to the other side.

Bank
Go all the way down on the left and you will find the Bank. Go in here. You will set off the metal detectors with the dictaphone so put it ni the tray on the left. Go through the detector and around to get your stuff. Holy Water is on the table to the left. Now go in and jump over the counter. Get the Medi Pack on the desk and the Holy Water and Hell Fire on the carts. Go through the door. Go straight to the door in front of you and try to save the girl. In the office go to the computer to open the bank vault. Go in the vault and get more Cash. Pick up 2 Hell Fires here too. Now leave the bank.

Vamp Informant/Modem
Not go to the door next to the night deposit for the bank. Pay him and get the Computer Store Key. This will open the door in the back of the computer store so you can get the modem. Take the key and head to the Computer Store on the lower level. Again you can jump over the rail to get there faster. Go in the store and into the back room. The stock room will be on the right. Get the Modem and head back up to the mall office on the top floor. If you leave through the Sport's store the office will be right at the top of the stairs. Use the computer and disable the security system. Now leave and go to your right to the previously locked grey door. This will take you to Tara. Good Luck!!

 

* Boss Help * - Tara

There are a couple ways to go here. When you first start to fight you can get in several shots at her with the homing missle/fireball spell. This works much better than the fireball alone cause you won't miss her. Also when she makes vamps cast the possession spell when they jump over and they will jump back over attack her for you. Between those two spells and some patience you'll get her.

 

* Secrets *

1. In the Sporting Goods Store in the fitting rooms in the back break both boxes to reveal a Medi Pack and 2 Hell Fire vials.

2. After you blow the hole in the back of the Sporting Goods store to the right there will be a chest likeyou saw in the Magic Box. Open this for a Medi Pack.

3. In the book store pull the ladder over to the left and go through the hole in the cieling. Break both boxes to get a Hell Fire, Holy Water, and a Medi Pack.
