and it got me to thinking about how hard it is to convey a scene in exactly
a 100 words: no more, no less. This is the result.

Xander closes his eyes and recalls harsh fingers digging into his hipbones. Sucks in a sharp breath and holds it, mind swirling around remembered kisses: hungry and bruising. Keeps his eyes shut and sees brown hair spilling across tanned, taut shoulders, curls tangling around his fingers, brushing against needy flesh. Loses himself in the slick slide of skin against skin, want pulling him to pieces and remaking him into something else.
Hers.
Forever marked when her body met his. Forever denied the solace of her skin again. Silently whispers her name - - Faith - - before opening his eyes to reality.
“Morning, Anya.”
